Core Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, consult, and close local merchants on the benefits of an emerging suite of company products
- Call new merchant partners across a spectrum of categories including food and drink, health and beauty, leisure, and others
- Develop familiarity with each merchants business, including but not limited to: products and/or services, consumer demographics, consumer ratings, points of competitive differentiation, merchant economic model, and revenue and profit drivers
- Deliver ongoing results by building long-term, profitable partnerships with merchants by offering a variety of solutions
- Drive market growth for both quality of merchants and revenue
Qualifications
- Desire to learn sales techniques and surpass expectations
- Experience selling over the phone and cold calling various types of businesses, local merchants a plus
- Salesforce.com or comparable CRM software proficiency a plus
- Demonstrate high degrees of diligence and accountability, with evidence of personal results
- A desire to learn and develop sales skills within an ever-changing sales organization
- A sense of coachability and confidence that is so balanced, it has its own end zone dance
- Ambitious and ready to keep up with a competitive, goal-driven, startup environment
- A high degree of professionalism, poise, and maturity with the ability to multitask and handle pressure swimmingly
Hours/pay:
- Monday-Friday 8-5!!
- Reps on track are making $38k+
- Room for advancement!
