Therapeutic Training & Support Specialist - Full-time / Part-time

For MA Mentor and The MENTOR Network, the Therapeutic Training & Support Specialist (Family Centered Specialist) is critical to our success and exemplifies the wonderful mission driven work we do here every day. The Therapeutic Training & Support Specialist role is a fantastic role to continue your career path in Social and Human Services with a myriad of career options to move up and across the organization. This position will include In-Home Therapy and Therapeutic Mentoring cases. The caseload will be determined by MA MENTOR. This position will serve families living in the Lawrence and Northeast region.

• Provide 1:1 skill building interventions with children
• Build rapport with families
• Participate in multi-disciplinary teams
• Implements and actively contributes to development, review and revise intervention plans
• Maintains current and completes client records and documentation in accordance with MA MENTOR and regulatory standards
• Implement service interventions per regulatory rules and requirements (i.e. Community Support Services, Intensive In-Home)
• Provide emergency and crisis support as assigned
• Provide parent education and support

• Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field required.
• Must have at least one year experience with children who have emotional and/or behavioral issues
• Prefer candidates with prior experience working with aggressive and oppositional children/teens
• Other education and experience plus licensure as required by state
