Research Associate

A large bio-tech company is looking for a Reasearch Associate for contract and long term positions in the Seattle area. This position will be developing immunoassays and regents to quantify process-related impurities. Please review the skills and qualifications below.

Responsibilities:
-Work as part of a team to develop and qualify impurity ELISAs to detect host cell proteins and other process-related impurities
-Work closely with the bioprocess development group to analyze/interpret data

Requirements:
-BS in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology or related field
-Advanced level of understanding in the field of protein biochemistry
-PCR/qPCR, Isothermal amplification and DNA extraction
-Proficient in ELISAs
-Experience in assay development
