Positions in this function are asked to contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's network security infrastructure. The successful applicant will have hands-on experience with a wide variety of security technologies, preferably with password vaulting technology or privileged identify management technology. This job requires strong communication skills, the ability to provide solutions to challenging problems, and the ability to work in a cross team environment.
Primary Responsibilites:
- Support and deployment of existing technologies.
- Maintain technology lifecycle of existing platform(s).
- Take direction from senior engineer.
- Create documentation to assist in product support.
- Provide security reviews of technology areas as requested.
- Reviews the work of others.
- Develops innovative approaches.
- Sought out as expert.
- Serves as a leader/ mentor.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or HS diploma/GED with 3+ years' experience developing and supporting enterprise information systems.
- 2+ years' experience in an information security role with strong knowledge of information security concepts.
- 1+ years' direct work experience with one or more security technologies such as:
- Server OS functionality (Windows, LINUX)
- Privileged Identity Management Tools
- Password Vaulting Technology
- Active Directory knowledge
- Network firewall/IPS
- Host based Security
- 6+ months direct work experience with:
- Privileged Identity Management Tool - CyberArk
- Password Vaulting Technology - CyberArk
- United States Citizenship
- Ability to obtain favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense form SF86 .
- NAC Clearance already obtained
- Understanding of network infrastructure design and routing concepts.
- ITIL model knowledge and understanding
As a requirement of UnitedHealth Group's contract with the Department of Defense, this position requires U.S. citizenship and proof of favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense form SF86 , (the National Agency Check or “NACâ€). Successful completion of the NAC process is a requirement for continued employment in this role. NAC processing will be initiated by our TRICARE Security Officer post-offer, and can take 3-6 months for a final decision communication from the Department of Defense. Candidates will be allowed to begin employment with UnitedHealth Group in this role based on an interim clearance, and final results will be communicated as they are received. Failure to obtain final NAC approval will result in termination from this role.
