Positions in this function are responsible for all aspects of quality assurance within the Claims job family, and will also have audit oversight of Customer Service and Enrollment functions.  This role will serve as team lead for the functional area.  Auditors conduct audits and provide feedback to reduce errors and improve processes and performance. This position offers the opportunity to join an emerging department that is working to dramatically improve the healthcare experience.

Major Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for all aspects of quality assurance within the Claims, Customer Service, and Enrollment functional areas. Conducts audits and provides feedback to reduce errors and improve processes and performance.

  • Provide expert claims support by reviewing, researching, investigating, and auditing claims

  • Analyze and identify trends and provides feedback and reports to reduce errors and improve claims processes and performance

  • Serve as team lead and provide coaching and support to other Auditors in work group

  • Ability and desire to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment based on business needs

  • High level of organizational skills, ability to locate resources quickly and meticulous attention to detail

  • Extensive work experience, possibly in multiple functions.

  • Work does not usually require established procedures.

  • Works independently and mentors others

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • Claims background required

  • Ability to work in a Windows based environment

  • 3+ years of Claims Audit experience

  • 4+ years of experience analyzing and investigating claims in an office setting environment

  • Intermediate proficiency with Excel (date entry, general maneuvering, running filters, general table set-up)

  • 1+ years supervisory experience

  • Authorization to work in the United States

  • Available to work 40 hours per week anytime within the operating hours of the site

  • Proficient English speaker

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Associate degree or equivalent experience

  • Knowledge of healthcare and terminology

  • Claim processing experience using Facets and MACESS platforms
