The Specialized Sales and Distribution Channel has been a key contributor to DISH’ success and has helped propel DISH to the Fortune 200 company that it is today. This Sales Channel is responsible for partnering with authorized DISH retailers and developing go to market strategies that will increase our retailer’s production and profitability.  

  • Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff.
  • Competencies include excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
  • Requires high level computer expertise, including use of internet, database, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications.
  • Flexible, innovative and the ability to manage staff, responsibilities and priorities in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment.
  • Ability to travel 50-75% of the time.
  • Must maintain valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; 3+ years related experience, 1-2 years outbound sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Mandarin or Cantonese language ability is required.
  • Develops and implements international strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
  • Identifies and grows new and existing retailer base within international markets.
  • Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
  • Reviews market analysis and creates SWOTs to help determine current opportunities and customer needs, price promotions, and discount rates. 
  • Advises retailers, distributors, and sales staff concerning international sales and advertising techniques per specific markets.
  • Helps support and represent various retailers and company at local grassroots events, tradeshows, etc. to promote International products and programming.
  • Travel throughout specific territory to meet with prospects, current retailers, and Account Managers to discuss international updates and sales training.
  • Responsible for international retailer development forums within assigned territory.
  • Meets with international programmers, agencies, and advertising mediums to assist in increasing retailer sales opportunities and promotions.
  • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed retailer base expansion.
  • Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition, and works with corporate International team to track retailer participation with competitors.
