A successful Commercial Operations Analyst will have the following:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact cross-functionally with various levels of employees and management. 
  • Must be able to learn and apply knowledge of commonly used applications as appropriate within the department.
  • Strong math and analytical skills to handle a wide variety of customer, partner, and internal requests.
  • Ability to think logically and be able to analyze different parts of the problem at the same time and solve a variety of different business problems.  A strong attention to detail is also critical.
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and two years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The Operations Analyst within the Commercial Services department will develop and analyze current processes and procedures that improve operational or sales efficiencies within and between departments. To be successful within the roles of operations analyst, a candidate must have strong math, analytical and communication skills.  Operations analyst must have the ability to think logically and be able to analyze different parts of the problem at the same time and solve a variety of different business problems.  A strong attention to detail is also critical.

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

  • Support enterprise release projects – promotional plans and offers, business sales and operations initiatives.
  • Create and review business requirements documents.
  • Research, identify, and leverage best practices to identify Commercial sales and operational improvements.
  • Support service and partner order entry tools specific to the Commercial line of business.
  • Work closely with training departments to educate customer service agents and retailers on new procedures and changes.
  • Analyzes current processes and procedures in order to make recommendations to promote effective operations within and between departments.
  • Performs user acceptance testing, the review and approval of testing scripts, the validation of test results, and the execution of test scripts for large and/or complex projects.
  • Develops and manages inter-department projects and procedures.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders throughout the organization - project managers, customers, IT, etc.
