Position Description:
Positions in theis function deliver professional level technical work in support of the development of company products, tools, platforms and services, typically for an external customer or end user. Operates within established methodologies, procedures, and guidelines. Applies knowledge of principles and techniques to solve technical problems. Works closely with other functions to understand customer needs and to develop product roadmaps.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyze and dissect system requirements and technical specifications to create and execute test cases for large business initiatives
- Ability to write test cases and execute testing within a web service environment
- Product test and driving defect resolution
- Test Automation using industry standard tools
- Assist business users in defining User Acceptance Testing, test cases and plans
- Establish and maintain test cases in Quality Center and/or Test Director
- Actively participate in walk-through, inspection, review and user group meetings for quality assurance
- Work with business users, systems analysts, designers and programmers to create and analyze various required project documents
- Participate in production implementation verification and being accountable for validating system quality
- Plan, document, evaluate and track testing results to ensure system applications are free from defects
- Communicate and interact with appropriate areas on problems, changes and enhancements that may impact data, workflow and/or functionality within Information Technology software
- Comply with standards of the software development life cycle and follow strategies, plans and procedures within Information Technology software
- Comply with standards and strategies of the software development life cycle

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or HS diploma/GED with 5+ years of equivalent experience in Healthcare and Business Acumen
- 3+ years experience with Quality Assurance Testing
- 1+ year of experience with SQL Databases
- 1+ year of experience with C#, Java or other OO language
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with EDI 837, 835, 276, 277
- Experience with HL7
- Experience with Quality Center or ALM
- Experience with Test Complete Automation
- Experience with Cloverleaf
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with SOAP/UI or other automation web testing
- Experience with SQL Server Management Studio
- Experience working with an offshore team
