Our client is seeking a Loan Officer Assistant to join their team.

This person must be flexible, have strong communication skills, attention to detail and be outgoing.

Job description:

The Loan Officer Assistant will support 2-4 loan officers in the Tigard call center. LOA will be responsible for:

  • reviewing files (dates, signatures, income, assets, etc)
  • updating/correcting data as needed
  • communication with customers (20-30% of day spent on phone)
  • updating loan officers on status of loan and actions needed
  • data entry (paperless environment)
  • send thank you notes
  • act as liaison between LO and clients
  • run reports

Qualifications:

  • knowledge of banking/finance/mortgage
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong data entry skills

Performance expectations:

  • Ability to close 20+ files per month
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work with multiple personalities
  • Upbeat attitude
