A Business Analyst professional is accountable for performing the following responsibilities:
Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers (i.e. process owners, line-of-business management etc.) to analyze information needs and elicit functional requirements from various project related parties
Proven ability to consult and coordinate with stakeholders in designing and mapping business processes and procedures
Experience producing timely project level reporting to appropriate business partners
Capable of leading detailed requirement phases identifying, tracking, escalating and/or resolving requirements issues
Facilitate large meetings and conduct information gathering sessions
Successful Business Analyst consultants should possess knowledge and experience in the following or related fields:
Bachelors degree in relevant subject area
5+ years of functional business analysis experience within the Banking/Financial Services industry experience with a particular focus in in Core Banking Operations to include:
Brokerage, Capital Markets, Commercial Banking, Compliance, Credit Card, Human Resources, Insurance, Marketing, Mortgage, Retail Banking, Risk Management, Treasury Services, Retirement Services and Trust
Exceptional technology skills to include advanced level capabilities with MS Office applications to include Visio, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
Analytic ability to identify problems and arrive at practical solutions
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a background check
Willingness and ability to travel preferred
