As a Program Director with REM River Bluffs, a partner of The MENTOR Network, you’ll be one of those extraordinary people. This position supports those we serve in a board and lodge setting; serving individuals with severe and persistent mental health with possible offense background. We are seeking a passionate leader who can successfully direct program staff to provide high quality services to individuals we support. Description


Develop and maintain quality services and engaging activities that meet the individual’s needs.


Manage the day to day operations in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Interview and select - talented staff. Lead, develop and inspire team providing on-going performance coaching.


Write and implements Individual Service Plans (ISP); ensures on-going communication with planning team.


Financial responsibility in the following areas: operational budget, time-keeping and billing for services provided.


Build and maintains quality customer relationships with families, Regional Centers, and regulatory agencies.


Qualifications

Requirements:


  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Designated Coordinator recognition required for non-ICF [must meet (a) Or (b) Or (c) below]:
  • Associate degree in a field related to human services and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; or A diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited post secondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; or A minimum of fifty hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities; And four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older.
  • Four year degree preferred.
  • Qualified Developmental Disability Professional recognition required for ICF must have a Four year degree in field related to human services and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older
  • Knowledge and understanding of applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability in areas of leadership, personnel, employee training, and public relations.
  • Skilled in written and oral communication, community relations and service development.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of behavior management principles, program development, and monitoring techniques.
  • Eligible as determined by the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, the Department of Human Services, and the Company’s Corporate Compliance Plan.
  • Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets insurability requirements as defined by the Company’s insurance carrier.
  • One year of supervisory experience preferred.
