Join a team playing a central role in the profitable growth of the Consumer Financial Services (CFS) Credit Card and Personal Lines & Loans portfolio and product set through the development and management of projects related to the Acquisitions Risk decisioning infrastructure.
You will partner with Marketing, Risk, Finance and Fulfillment to provide Zoot decision solutions that drive portfolio growth and profitability.
This position will require you to familiarize yourself with credit policy, existing Credit Risk Decisioning rules and associated decisioning data in order to design and develop effective & efficient solutions, actively participate in project team meetings, proactively engage with key partners/stakeholders, review and sign-off on project documentation, and resolve problems quickly.
You will interact with CFS Risk managers, Technology teams including Acquisitions Decision Systems, Fulfillment Operations, Credit Policy, Compliance and Legal to ensure that all requirements have been met in your systems solution design.
Your project participation should result in solution designs that are efficient and scalable, allow speed to market, and have the flexibility to handle both foreseen and unforeseen events.
You will need to foster professional and effective working relationships with all Risk team members and key partners/stakeholders, maintain timely, consistent and professional communications, model a collaborative, communicative and positive work approach.
To be successful you will leverage your knowledge of and dependencies between the decisioning systems, source data, business processes, and CFS products and channels to design, develop, and implement solutions using WebRules on the Zoot platform to optimize automated decision outcomes.
Projects will potentially span across multiple environments including Zoot, ACAPS, SVP, SFE, OSMP, ECPR, Provenir, CCTG/EAI, CARE.
**Preferred locations are listed, however, we will consider candidates in other major hub locations for Wells Fargo.**
4+ years risk experience. * Familiarity with credit underwriting or automated decisioning systems, CRM systems, or database marketing environment
* Experience with designing and developing system code to implement business rules
This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
* 4 year undergraduate degree
* Proven working knowledge using an automated decisioning system such as ZOOT WebRules, Blaze, ACAPS, JRules or iLog, or other application processing and decisioning platforms (e.g. Provenir, Triad, Probe, Transact)
* Experience with credit bureau data from Experian, Equifax and TransUnion
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrated record of developing creative and innovative solutions to common business problems
* Investigative and inquisitive
* Drives for results, is aware of deadlines, meets commitments, able to respond effectively to shifting priorities
* Builds relationships through collaboration and teamwork
* Displays high integrity and honesty
