Cage Washer - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description:

• Must have a general understanding of animal welfare regulations and of the importance of ethical use of animals in research
• Must have strong skills in performing assigned husbandry tasks
• Ability to apply principles of sanitation and disinfection
• Able to operate and maintain equipments related with animal care
• Flexible to adjust work schedule to accommodate varying work loads
• Legible writing skills and ability to keep well-documented, accurate work records
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Able to work in a high-paced, quality service environment
• Able to perform assigned tasks without supervision
• Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task
• Excellent work ethic and must be a team player
• Demonstrated proficiency and accuracy in basic mathematical computation (i.e. addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages)
• Demonstrated proficiency in computer and modern office methods operations
• Proper English language usage, spelling, and composition, grammar, punctuation and vocabulary
