The Provider Data Analyst is responsible for various activities related to the provider network database which may include any or all of the following: database maintenance, reporting and extracting data for various reports and analyses, initiating database improvement. Provider Data Analysts develop and maintain standards for database integrity and quality assurance, coordinate corrective activities to clean database and retain users, and manage communication processes with other departments regarding database improvements. Other responsibilities include conducting audits and providing feedback to reduce errors and improve processes and performance, maintaining current provider data to ensure the quality of the network, and may be responsible for representing the provider network area on company IT projects, reporting and tracking provider calls and complaints, or for the support, coordination, and production of the paper directory cycles.


 


Primary Responsibilities:



  • Use pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise
  • Investigate non-standard requests and problems, with some assistance from others
  • Work exclusively within a specific knowledge area
  • Prioritize and organize own work to meet deadlines
  • Provide explanations and information to others on topics within area of expertise
  • Assist Lead tester with testing tasks for Provider related projects; including defect retest
  • Support development of Provider related test case scenarios and execute scripts as needed
  • Perform functional, user acceptance and regression testing of system components
  • Data prep for UAT; directly load or assist in loading data to NDB and /or other core systems (NDB, COSMOS, UNET) to support migration related activities as directed by test lead
  • Assist team with troubleshooting testing results and provider feedback and expertise on core internal systems
  • Participate with issue resolution through collaboration with Lead tester, IT and business contacts
  • Maintain required documentation/artifacts
  • Follow up on open items and collect data to support root cause analysis
  • Participate in project closure activities; assist with implementation weekend activities/checkout, support the project warranty period
  • Assist in special projects as directed

**Must be able to work evenings and weekends when required

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2+ years of Provider loading experience within NDB with downstream load to Cosmos or UNET
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in an environment of rapid change
  • Beginner Microsoft Office skills (MS Excel, Access and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Knowledge of UAT execution, script and defect management tools; HP ALM Center (test lab, dashboard and defects management)
  • CSP Facets Provider knowledge
  • Experience writing policies and procedures
