Esteemed Energy Company has an immediate need for a Plant Operator/Technician in their Generating Plant in Erie, CO. The Plant Operator/Technician will be performing daily maintenance, trouble shooting and repair of electrical generator sets and equipment. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of operation and maintenance experience on mobile or stationary engine generator sets up to 1500 kW. Experience w/ CAT G3500 and G3600 gas engines is desired.

What You Need:

• 1-5 Years of Operation and Maintenance Experience on Mobile or Stationary Engine Generators up to 1500kW
• Ability to Read and Interpret Operations and Safety Manuals, Analyze and Apply Basic Troubleshooting and Repair Techniques on Plant Equipment
• Capable of being On-Call 24/7 on a rotating basis (M-F, 7AM - 4PM schedule)
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Must be able to crouch, bend, kneel for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work in an environment of constant loud noises and extreme heat
• High School Diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
• Must possess a valid drivers license
• Willing to submit to pre-employment physical, drug test, and background check
• Must possess computer skills (Word, Excel, PLC and email)

What You'll Do:

• Perform Facility Inspections, Maintenance and Repairs of Plant Equipment
• Monitor and Adjust Plant System Controls to Maximize Performance and Prevent Equipment Failure
• Respond to Plant Alarms
• Learn Appropriate Corrective Action and Execute Plant Shut-Down and Start-Up Procedures
• Comply w/ State and Federal Permitting Requirements
• Administrative Duties as necessary (Logging and Reporting)
• Maintain Inventory of Supplies
• Order and Purchase materials and supplies
• Communicate and Coordinate w/ Clients
