Position Summary:
Selects merchandise and prepares orders for shipping as needed. Assists with other areas of Production as required.
Receives one or more order "pick tickets", using pallet jack or forklift for transit walks thru cooler (32 F) and freezer (-10F) selecting and palletizing products itemized on pick ticket. When completed brings items to weight station. Weighs and marks items on ticket, loads trucks as directed Billing of all contract accounts. Employee is responsible for participating in monthly inventory as required. Responsible for the cleanliness of all cooler, freezer and dry storage areas.

Weighs orders when required Loads trucks Stocks product in cooler and freezer General cleaning or warehouse, coolers, and freezer Other duties as required Repack as needed Billing orders Performs any of the attached functions as needed to achieve warehouse goals Other plant related duties as assigned Responsible for warehouse safety and the training and certification for all motorized forktrucks, lifts and pallet jack operators
Qualifications:
3-5 years experience in a fast-paced position Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills Ability to work in refrigerated and frozen environment Must read, understand, and acknowledge receipt of company handbook and policy statements. Must read, understand and practice the preferred work methods attached. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Forklift/Pallet Jack certified Possesses knowledge of all OSHA and Fulton warehousing safety regulation, ability to enforce and train others in PWM's to maintain accident free warehouse.
REVIEWS ACCOUNTABILITY:
Employee performance reviews will be measured against the achievements of essential and secondary functions as well as the proficiency of required knowledge and skills. EQUIPMENT USAGE/LICENSING REQUIRED:
