Lead staff and cashier function based on our client service culture. Ensure compliance with Sephora's objectives and policies. Serve as Director-in-Charge (DIC) at the registers. Duties and Responsibilities

As a Role Model

Set the example for exemplary customer service, always using the company values as a filter (Passion for the Client). Proficient at all POS, MPOS and Mplus systems to serve as a resource for all POS functions. Leads by example in Beauty Insider Sign up and Opt in. Sets the pace with the cast to ensure Beauty Insider program and perks are communicated to all clients at the cash wrap. Take initiative: being able to react to situations in the moment and business opportunities as they arise. Exhibit positive behavior towards cast, company, and clients. Be available to and flexible with cast. Be punctual at work and with all deadlines. Demonstrate high ethical standards. Store's Budget and Financial Results

Monitor daily, weekly, monthly sales, Medallia, and Beauty Insider results with Store Director and communicate to staff members. Assist in achieving store's sales plans and operating profits while maintaining expenses related to managing cash. Maintain (with Store Director) optimum store staffing levels while adhering to budgetary goals. Monitor and participate in programs to reduce shortage/loss. Ensure and monitor that all Sephora cash handling policies and procedures are performed.

Personnel/Staff Supervision

Train Cashiers to develop their client service and POS/ MPOS / Mplus skills. Coach Cashiers to achieve goals in all metrics as they relate to our CLI performance: overall checkout experience, wait time, sampling, Beauty Insider appreciation and client appreciation. Coach and train cashiers to communicate to clients the features and benefits of all tiers of Beauty Insider program. Inform and motivate staff to meet store goals and comply with policies. Provide coaching when needed. Contribute to a safe workplace. Recognize and celebrate the positive actions and performance of staff. Respect confidentiality. Respect diversity. Monitor, embrace, and adhere to all client service policies. Training

Ensure that all new cashiers attend the Sephora orientation and training prior to being scheduled "on stage." Ensure that POS and MPOS/Mplus training is scheduled and successfully completed. Maintain and update communication for cashier team, utilizing FSC e-mails received and other company resources. Encourage cross-training between seasoned cashiers and new cashiers. Ensure product knowledge training for all cashier staff. Store Presentation

Assist in set up and maintenance of Sephora's merchandising concepts at all times, especially for Beauty on the Fly and the fixtures surrounding the registers. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness standards for the cashier zone including Beauty Insider inventory presentation at the registers and backstage. Operations

Ensure compliance with all Sephora policies and procedures. Management of the safe and applicable code changes: daily balance, tracking of unbalanced cash registers. Ensure all cash handling processes such as change orders are maintained "Expert" in the following cashier functions. Returns/Exchanges Price Adjustments* Voids Supply Requisition Procedure Cashier Audits MPlus Opening/Closing Procedures Damaged Product Discounts* POS Maintenance MPOS Cannot key employee transactions (*Must be approved by Store Director or Specialist) Maintain acceptable scores on Regional Audit Checklist. Consult with Store Director for specific zone issues. Ensure compliance with Sephora's cash handling and shortage prevention procedures. Monitor and maintain appropriate quantity of cashier supplies. Monitor and maintain appropriate quantity of Beauty Insider products through cycle counts and ensuring accurate keying procedures. Complete all paperwork procedures that are necessary for the store's function promptly and accurately. Ensure store safety standards are maintained. Ensure "on stage" supervision. Perform change order requests and paybacks. Ensure the MPOS strategy is maintained to keep the store compliant with company expectations. MCS/E-Planner: perform weekly promotions, BI promotion codes, technology updates. Speak to cash wrap metrics: Beauty Insider Opt-In, CLI scores, BI appreciation and treatment score from Medalia. Perform other store-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, skills required Excellent communication and service skills. Strong math skills; analytical skills a plus. Proficient in Windows, Word, Excel. Experience Required

1-2 years in retail/service industry management/supervision Cash handling experience required Minimum Educational Level

High School Graduate or equivalent. College degree preferred. Proficiency in a foreign language preferred. Requirements of the Job
