We are currently seeking an Interior Design Sales Consultant to join our In Home Custom Decorating Team. Primary Responsibilities:
* Maintaining and exceeding maximum volume and customer service standards for in-home custom decorating window treatment products and service
* Consult with customers in their homes by appointment
* Build a solid customer relationship that sees the customer through the process from initial design to installation
* Demonstrate exceptional customer service
* Build collaborative partnership with store leaders, installers and associates
* Complete full sales lifecycle, including lead generation, prospecting, networking, presentation and close
* Demonstrate knowledge of JCPenney In-Home Custom Decorating window treatment product and services
* Use product knowledge to build customer base and expertise
Core Competencies & Accomplishments:
* 2-3 years of consultive sales, retail or related experience
* Design background or interior design degree a plus
* Knowledge of iPad, PC data input and internet navigation skills
* Ability to interpret and apply data
* Math acumen-ability to use calculator and measuring tape
* Ability to manage a client base within a 60 mile radius of design studio
* Flexibility and dependability with schedules, including availability on nights and weekends
* Local travel required: must have a reliable form of transportation, valid driver's license and auto insurance
