DISH’s Ad Sales team is an innovative, passionate and fun group working hard and finding reward in radically changing TV advertising.   We are based out of New York City, with offices in Chicago, Denver and Los Angeles. The Data and Analytics team is the backbone of Dish Media Sales. We work with the largest continuous Set-top-box data set in the industry and provide advertisers with a way to deliver addressable advertising at national scale. 

A successful Account Executive will have the following:

  • 5-7 years national cable or broadcast Advertising Sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or University, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Adhere to all company policies, including recommended rates and packages.
  • Ability to open, probe, support customer needs and close business.
  • Adhere to collection procedures including processing of client contracts and confirmations.
  • Track record of consistently exceeding expectation.

DISH Network is currently looking for a top-tiered sales professional to call on Direct Response Advertising Agencies and Clients. This individual's success will be directly tied to an ability to help our client's strategize and achieve their growth objectives. The Advertising Account Executive is responsible for making sales calls to new and existing customers. We are looking for candidates with strong existing relationships to help grow the business.  Prefer strong Agency and Client relationships on the West Coast.

 

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:           

  • Seek new customers by continuously prospecting following DISH's planned sales strategies and tactics. Meet budgeted revenue goals and activity levels on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Monitor competitive activity and market conditions, providing feedback and suggestions to management regarding new product addition and existing product deletion.
  • Complete required documentation and reporting for the proper processing of contracts, advertising schedules and call and expense reports.
  • Create and propose advertising recommendations that best suit customer needs.
  • Prepare accurate advertising contracts on behalf of the company. Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, and conferences as directed and solicit customers through telephone and in person presentations.
  • Assist customers and prospects in attaining their goals through proper utilization of the company's products and services and ensure goodwill between customers and the company and address customer complaints quickly and advise management promptly of any situation outside position's scope of authority.
