Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 3 for a prestigious account located in Enfield, CT . In this lead management role, you will direct and participate in all of the daily food contract operations for 1 site with a Full-service Caf, Vending and Catering services for a building population of approx. 2000. Responsibilities will include: unit financials/budgets, HR functions, marketing, strategic planning, cash management and control, training, customer interaction and supervision of 25 nonunion employees to include both management and hourly staff. This unit is one of 3 in the area.
Very busy, fast paced environment with high volume cafe and upscale catering.
The successful candidate would have:
Complex account terms
Prior GM experience in similar size account.
Prior contract service work required.
Organized, solid in financials skill sets.
The ability to strategize,analyze and problem solve on a regular basis required
Solid client facing and customer facing skills.
Strong & consistent communicator with both internal and external individuals at all levels
The ability to lead, nurture and train a large team along with direct reporting manager/supervisor.
Detailed oriented and the ability to innovate / execute on a regular basis.
Position Summary
Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 4 years
