This is a professional Career Service Administrative Assistant II position in the Jacksonville Regional Service Center.

As a key member of the Management Team, you will be working with the Service Center Manager. You must be an effective communicator working across a broad spectrum of colleagues and the public. You must also be able to operate successfully in a demanding environment, manage multiple tasks, and work independently. We are looking for people who are detailed-oriented, possess critical thinking skills, understand basic math, and are able to work in a Windows-based computer environment.

You should provide evidence of at least one year of experience in higher level administrative duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Use Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook.

Prepare agendas for management meetings, transcriptions of meetings, assembly of materials for meetings, conferences, and training sessions. Coordinate meeting logistics, i.e. facility and equipment usage.

Perform administrative duties and compile reports.

Assist supervisors/employees with human resource activities as assigned and acts as time administrator for service site.

Act as primary purchasing card holder for Region Administration. Process and complete submissions of all purchase and/or travel card charges. Respond to requests from Budget Coordinator.

Learn and improve your knowledge of procedures and skills through participation in conferences, team meetings, training, and Revenue's online resources.

Participate in special projects and assignments that may include implementation or roll out of new equipment or software, office moves or construction, or assisting in the coordination, completion and/or tracking of program projects.

Preference will be given to applicants who document the following experience in the work history section of their employment application:

1. One year employment experience in an executive/administrative assistant area.

2. One year experience preparing reports, memorandums and informational emails.

3. One year experience with purchasing goods or services.

4. One year experience managing supply inventories.

5. One year experience in processing travel.

6. Computer/software skills in at least 2 of the following: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, CAMS.

THE MINIMUM SALARY FOR THIS POSITION IS $2,445.35 PER MONTH ($29,344.38). Salary determination will be based on the State of Florida minimum requirements as well as consideration of applicable knowledge, skills, abilities and available funds.
