The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks an Executive Administrative Assistant to assist in the support of multiple leaders within our Technology organization.
The Technology team fills an important role within Time Warner Cable by providing end-to-end solutions for the native set-top-box and next generation IP-video based navigation experiences.
This role will be based in our NYC Corporate office and will work closely with existing
Technology
Executive Administrative support. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Essential Job Functions:
*Must be a motivated self-starter with a strong attention to detail
*Must possess excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
*Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
*Must be able to work collaboratively with both internal and external administrative assistants to help coordinate meeting, events, etc.
*Must be able to prioritize and anticipate the needs of the team.
*Must be able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
*Must have excellent interpersonal skills and possess a positive, friendly and helpful attitude
*Must be able to work under pressure.
Job Requirements:
*5+ years of experience as an administrative assistant supporting senior executives and their teams.
*Proficient using MS Outlook and a strong working knowledge of MS Word, Power Point and Excel.
*Scheduling conference rooms and setting up meetings, as requested.
*Greet visitors and determine whether they should be given access to specific individuals.
*Maintain familiarity with all telephone, photocopy, fax, computer, printer, and other equipment and be able to assist others with their issues.
*Be proactive and stay informed of company administrative policies and issues.
*Handle sensitive information with good judgment and discretion.
*Perform other general administrative duties and projects as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
*Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, and/or presentation software.
*Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, and reports in order to determine their significance and plan their distribution.
*Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential material and information appropriately.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience.
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:
No Supervisory responsibilities with this position.
Travel Requirements:
Travel 5 %
