POSITION SUMMARY
Pharmacy Benefit Analyst for the Pharmacy Benefit Installation Team. This position includes a wide range of project work related to pharmacy plan set up and implementation.
Fundamental Components:
Responsible for reporting and data analysis related to plan set up including research to determine root cause of issues
Must be an independent worker with ability to handle assignments with little direction.
Must be able to handle multiple assignments/projects at the same time while ensuring completion of assignments according to established timelines
Requirements of this position include but are not limited to:
o Mediates and coordinates resolution of all project deliverables as it relates to the pharmacy organization
o Leads critical initiatives that contribute to the development of new or updated plan set up tools, resources, or materials
o Possesses functional knowledge of the other units in the department and organization
o Participates as a member of a cross functional work team
o Uses system generated data to prepare management level reports
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
5-7 years healthcare experience.
In depth knowledge of Aetnas Pharmacy products, services, and system capabilities.
Project management experience
Comprehensive knowledge of CCI Rx terminology
Knowledge of Saleforce.com
Must be an intermediate to advanced Microsoft excel user
EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
