Material Handler

We have a opening for a Material Handler.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Manpower is now hiring a skilled Material Handler for a large manufacturing company in the Tulsa area. Responsibilities: * Reads and interprets production orders and pick tickets. * Follow all material handling processes and procedures to coordinate, store, assemble, label and ship individual components, kitted together for final distribution to various departments. * Read and follow special instructions as necessary. * Occasionally operate forklift, motorized pallet jack and electric delivery carts. * Follow housekeeping standards at all times. * Communicates effectively and completely with team members and other employees as necessary. * Follow all prescribed operating and equipment handling procedures with or without reasonable accommodation. * Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements at all times. Requirements: * At least one year of recent and directly applicable experience is a must. * Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required * Must be able to effectively read, write, and communicate. * Must be able to accurately follow written and verbal instructions. * Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations. * Must be able to read production orders and pack tickets. * Must be able to read and apply both Standard and Metric weights and measurements. * Must be able to safely operate hand and power tools, drum dollies, and powered forklifts with or without reasonable accommodation. * Must be able to use and/or wear all required PPE with or without reasonable accommodation. * Need to be available to work required overtime, as necessary.
