As a member of the Junior Jockey Rolling Rides (JJRR) team you will function as the ambassador of our product. You will be expected to share in the same passion and excitement the founding fathers of our products possessed when they first created it in the 1990's.
As a member of JJRR you are more than an employee. As a growing company the opportunities to expand and grow with us are endless. We are currently looking for motivated, outgoing people who aren't afraid to sell. Providing exceptional customer service should lead the way in our daily operations as it is the foundation for establishing a rock steady customer base.
We are looking to fill a Supervisor position located at our The Centre at Salisbury kiosk. The position will be part-time and will be flexible with scheduling.
Your expectations and duties will include:
- Greeting customers in a friendly and helpful manner upon their approach to cart
- Aiding customer in choosing most beneficial package that fits their needs
- Ensure that JJRR procedures are followed when renting toys to customers
- Maintain full accountability of product
- Sanitize all rides when they return to cart
- Handle sales transactions and accurately enter sales into point of sale (POS) system
- Keep cart (and immediate surrounding area) organized, tidy, and clean at all times
- Punctuality...be on time
- Become an expert on the rules, regulations, and operation of JJRR and be able to articulate this information to customers
- Open and close cart in compliance with the outlined operations procedure
- Participate in monthly sales meeting
A minimum of 1 year retail and sales experience is preferred but not a must. We ask that you possess the ability to:
- Quickly learn to use POS
- Occasionally lift between 25 -50lbs
- Meet daily sales goals
- Stand for long periods of time
- Exude motivation and wiliness to engage with potential customers
- Fully be able to explain product and operation of product
- Be a self-starter
- Communicate efficiently
- Adapt to a fast moving environment
The individual chosen for this position will be required to meet a minimum sales volume. At Junior Jockey Rolling Rides this hard work will not go unrewarded. Based on amount and consistency of sales, each team member has the opportunity to receive between 10% and 15% commission on their conducted sales.
