Job Description:
As the Medical Biller you will work closely with the other Medical departments. As the Medical Biller you will be tasked with the following daily but not limited to
- Perform Billing Duties: verification of eligibility and benefits, submit/obtain authorizations from commercial and government insurance carriers
- Prepare clean claims based on insurance requirements and guidelines
- Order product and communicate benefit information with representatives
- Prepare/maintain reports provided by team supervisors
- Contact patients to obtain insurance information
- Insurance Includes: Medicare, Medi-Cal, HMO, PPO, Workers Comp, and more
- Billing Includes: Surgical, Orthopedic, Durable Medical Equipment, Rehabilitation
