Reporting directly to the Regional VPO, the District Chef is responsible for the overall kitchen operations of their group of restaurants. Their key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

* Striving to create an operation that values BBRG standards of Guest Service. Personally ensuring that every point of contact with the Guest meets or exceeds expectations and creates a lasting impression to drive repeat business;

* Communicating in an impactful and meaningful way with all location Chefs, Managers and Team Members and fostering an open and respectful work environment;

* Managing the performance of the Chefs to drive efficient execution of all kitchen operations;

* Developing, managing, and consistently driving traffic growth, check average, and improvement of frequency over prior year, period, and week;

* Supporting the Culinary Department in opening restaurants, conducting menus rollouts and new product testing and concept initiatives.

BBRG Seeks District Chefs with the Following Career Experience :

* 3 to 5 years high-volume, upscale-affordable multi-unit supervisory experience;

* College degree or equivalent, additional coursework in restaurant management preferred;

* Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays;

* Ability to travel;

* Working knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices, point-of-sale and computer systems;

* Successful controlling of costs associated with running a profitable business such as food, labor and beverage;

* Proven track record in driving sales and Guest traffic;

* Ability to perform basic math calculations and understand fundamental accounting principles;

* Ability to read, write and speak English fluently;

* Relocation ability is highly preferred but not required.
