Job Summary: Join us and work as a Human Resource Generalist at our client location. You'll get to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, supporting a diverse group of employees and our on-site leadership team. You maintain in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees at our client site, reducing legal risks and ensuring consistency. You're skilled at influencing people at all levels in the organization and you're extremely flexible and proactive in a fast paced, ever changing environment. You are a utility player - you're willing to help out wherever needed, whenever needed. Your typical day may include all of the following: Employee Relations:
• Act as an associate advocate in a manner that supports the employee, the company and our clients
• Conduct and manage investigations of associates at our client locations
• Ensure timeline and complete documentation of all HR and Safety related investigations Consulting:
• Provide guidance to leadership team regarding process, performance and motivation
• Partner with client HR and client managers to address concerns and determine solutions
• Work with Site Leadership team to ensure consistent processes are in place for daily activities which have an HR impact Staff Member Training & Development:
• Ensure training plans are in place and executed for new staff members as they on-board
• Collaborate with site leaders to create development plans for staff members based on performance
• Monitor the completion of compliance training Recruiting:
• Partner with Site Leadership and corporate HR to fill open staff member positions
• Provide support at our Opportunity Center & Retail partners What you'll need:
• Bachelor' Degree in HR, Business Administration, or Organizational Behavior
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing, warehouse or distribution center
• Knowledge of State and Federal Employment Laws/Regulations
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite
• Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule as business demands including evenings and weekends
• Excellent teamwork and adaptability skills in a fast-growing environment
• Highly developed in taking initiative and resourcefulness Superior written and verbal communications skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills What's in it for you?
