INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - Full-time / Part-time

Position Summary The role of an Industrial Maintenance Tech is to ensure the smooth, continuous operation of all equipment/structures, within the facility and its surrounding grounds. This position is instrumental to the safety of employees and overall efficiency of the various manufacturing areas. Essential job functions and required skills § Repair and maintain machinery and new equipment, according to specification and blueprints § Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team, with good communication between shifts § Experienced work history with machine repair, electrical, plumbing and HVAC § Ability to maintain supply inventory and report reorder needs § Install and repair electrical apparatus and electronic components § Ability to perform standard preventative maintenance and daily water treatment § Repair and maintain physical structure of facility and its grounds § Inspect/test equipment to detect malfunctions and diagnose problems for proper repair, through various troubleshooting methods § Ability to utilize various maintenance tools, such as hand tools, forklift, (precision) measuring devices, blueprints, brushes, scissor lift, cutting torch, welders, jigs, harnesses, etc. physical requirements § Ability to stand, bend, squat, reach, push/pull, climb, carry, drive and/or walk for 8 to 12 hour shifts, as schedule demands § Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. § Ability to work indoor, outdoor, high areas or confined spaces, as needed § Ability to work 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week, or as scheduled occupational health and safety Employees are responsible and accountable for: Compliance with workplace policies and procedures for risk identification, risk assessment and risk control Active participation in activities associated with the management of workplace health and safety Identification and reporting of health and safety risks, accidents, incidents, injuries and property damage at the workplace Correct utilization of appropriate personal protective equipment INTEGRITY STAFFING IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER INT OPENWAR
