Purpose for the Position:
To supervise cleaning personnel and inspect hotel guestrooms, bathrooms, corridors and lobbies.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assigns work to cleaning personnel and trains personnel in housekeeping duties.
- Posts room occupancy records.
- Adjusts guests’ complaints regarding housekeeping service or equipment.
- Writes requisitions for room supplies and furniture renovation or replacements.
- Examines carpets, drapes and furniture for stains, damage or wear.
- Checks and counts linens and supplies.
- Records inspection results and notifies cleaning personnel of inadequacies.
- Communicates with other hotel departments regarding problems which need their attention.
- Ensures all equipment is properly maintained and secured.
- Ensures Lost and Found procedures are followed.
- Aids in budget control through supervision of employees use of linen, supplies and equipment.
- Ensures key control policies.
- Abides by the regulations of the material safety data sheet when using chemicals.
- May perform cleaning duties.
- Reports to work for scheduled shift, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.
- Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.
- Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
- Performs other related duties as required.

Physical Demands:
