As a Finance Senior Analyst at PepsiCo, you will be a key Finance contact responsible for providing the financial expertise and recommendations that enable effective decision-making within the business. The Financial Senior Analyst will be the key finance contact for the R&D team. The Finance Senior Analyst will provide overall support for the period end results, preparation of forecasts, Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Innovation Growth or Integrated Business Plans, along with financial analysis, reporting and budgeting.

Responsibilities include:

Based Miami, FL serve as the finance leader for the SACCAF R&D team

Lead financial analysis, planning and reporting processes across all SACCAF R&D departments (Total budget ~$25MM)

Partner with FP&A teams to provide required forecast updates and variance explanations each period.

Provide financial reports to all budget owners each period, highlighting and investigating significant variances to plan/forecast

Support the development of business cases and complex financial models for a variety R&D projects

Manage a complex funding model across all BU's and PI regions and provide creative solutions to simplify the funding process

Manage the entire capital budget, working with the facilities and R&D teams to prioritize projects, forecast spending and ensure all required accounting and approval processes are followed

Lead internal control activities including balance sheet reviews, SOX audits and SAP auditing. Lead all new process control initiatives for SACCAF R&D

Support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process for SACCAF R&D

Drive improvements to the R&D project accounting process using SAP/AccoladeSupport ad hoc projects as requested

Qualifications:

5+ Years Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA or CPA preferred

Ability to work as a team player and lead cross functional teams

Strong PC skills including Microsoft office and SAP

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including lookups, macros and pivot tables,

Excellent organization, presentation, and communication skills

Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions/processes

Strong attention to detail

Results-oriented, able to complete assignments in a timely and accurate manner, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities

Able to work on own with limited day to day supervision

Ability to build relationships, manage conflict and embrace change
