Retail Sales Manager of Northern CA
Job Description Business Management:
The Retail Sales Manager is the retail "business leader" for the team. Responsibilities include:
Selling and upselling merchandising programs (Gatorade and Quaker Foods & Snacks) to operational leadership (District Managers) at customers in Northern CA geography
Accountable for PepsiCo Warehouse Sales in store execution...selling and display execution
Communication and implementation of North America Nutrition (Gatorade and Quaker Foods & Snacks) promotional and merchandising plans to Advantage Sales Marketing
Perform analysis, communicates insights and best practices to team
Broker Management:
The Retail Sales Manager will manage the relationship with the Advantage Sales & Marketing Supervisor to perform the following people management related functions and activities:
Provide consistent direction, selling tools, training and motivation to the Retail Supervisor to drive results across the team
Performs professional and process oriented assessment work withes to measure broker performance
Provides feedback, rewards, course correction to ASM RS based on work with documentation
Financial Management:
The Retail Sales Manager will provide financial management for the following activities:
Point of Sale (POS) and Equipment forecasting and ordering
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred and/or 5+ years of sales experience with consumer packaged goods organization.
Highly motivated individual with excellent communication, selling, negotiation, influencing, and follow up skills
Retail and Category Management experience is a plus
Strong PC skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Solid understanding of financials including P&L impact of sales decisions.
