Zone Sales Assistant - Frito-Lay Sales Operations - Part Time (19 Hours per Week)

The Zone Assistant must have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills. The Zone Assistant must be flexible and adaptable to a fast paced environment and changing priorities. Primary duties of this position include customer service, payroll and general administration (records maintenance and filing). Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (SAP HCM), IMS (Employee Locator), XPTR, FMLA and OSHA regulations is helpful but will train.

Customer Service Responsibilities Include:

Handling calls regarding payroll, logistics and employee issues

Maintaining accountability of the issue through resolution with the appropriate manager

General Administration Responsibilities Include:

Support the Zone Operations Manager (i.e. travel arrangements, meeting support)

Support Bin operational activity: permits, supplies, contracts

Interface between RSRs and the Bulk 24 and Bulk 18 Teams

Using Frito-Lay's computer systems, process electronic product orders submitted by RSRs for Warehouse Operations Team

Pulling internal reports for Zone Operations Manager when necessary

Records Maintenance and Filing

SAG and OSHA Audit support

Place Supply Orders for Zone

Maintaining Workers Compensation files

Maintaining accurate employee personnel and supplemental files

Payroll

Hiring Responsibilities Include:

Employee payroll issues including helping track down lost payroll checks and reissuing

Processing all Personnel Change Notice's (new hires, terminations, LOA...)

Maintaining accurate applicant flow log

Verifying all paper work on new employees is complete and accurate; schedule drug testing, background checks

Maintaining applicant files

Work with Sales function to set up Open House for all outreach agencies once a year

Minimum Position Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years administrative experience in a professional environment

Proficient in computers and customer service

Specifically, the successful candidate has the following levels of proficiency in the following software packages:

Microsoft Word Expert

Microsoft Excel-Expert including macros, formulas, etc. A working knowledge of Visual Basics is a plus!

Microsoft PowerPoint-Intermediate

Microsoft Outlook-Intermediate

Strong verbal and written communication skills, Intermediate business math skills

Strong organizational skills and an ability to work in a fast paced environment
