Location : North Retail Store
1070 Kelly Johnson Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80920
Status : Full-time
Must have open/flexible availability Mon-Sun
Pay : $9.50 / hr
We Pay for Performance
Possibility of a pay increase to $10.00/hr
Upon solid performance review rating at the 90 day performance evaluation
Position Overview
You will work with a team of retail and operations professionals and help ensure we make the best use of our resources to help achieve our mission. We prefer you are a team player, professional who is willing to "roll up the sleeves!”
Responsibilities (include but not limited to) :
· Oversee cashiers, creating schedules, counting/balancing drawers, assigning breaks, money drops, change orders/requests, pulling cashiers, setting goals, and other supervisory responsibilities as required.
· Give directives as well as constructive feedback to employees while delegating tasks.
· Open/close store as required following appropriate procedures.
· Act as Manager On Duty as necessary, being able to make decisions and have final say.
· Meet sales goals for the day, and empower cashiers to meet their daily/work goals.
· Count and upkeep of store bank, create deposits, make out change orders.
· Supervisor the sales floor assisting with clean-up, dressing rooms and jewelry counter, calling for back-up to sales floor/cash registers as needed, to include coffee bar.
· Oversee community service workers sign-in/sign-out and assign work as needed.
· Return items as needed, making sure all cash registers, counters and work area is clean and clutter free.
· Providing excellent Customer Service, assisting with difficult customers, returns, employee purchase and discounts.
· Family with POS (Point of Sale system), running reports, etc.

- Familiar with different cash handling techniques and processes, to include basic math skills.
- Technical knowledge to oversee and report technical issues with POS system.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred, to include scheduling, goal setting, task delegation, etc.
- To be a high-energy, positive thinker.

- To bring a sense of urgency.
- Desire to work hard and perform well with dedication and great work ethic.
- Communicate effectively with managers, supervisors and other associates.
