Electrician - Full-time / Part-time

Current need for Electricians and Electrical helpers for a solar project located in Claremont, NC.

Candidates will need to have commercial or industrial experience working with electrical equipment.

They will be working with underground electrical wire so they will be doing a lot of work in the trenches.

They will be required to run conduit, pull wire and perform terminations into combiner boxes.

Electricians should have termination and cabinet wiring experience, typical cabinets would be PLC cabinets, control cabinets, or electrical panels.

Candidates should have experience with high voltage( 480 Volt 3 phase) in the past.

All of the work is NOT ENERGIZED so there is no electrical current flowing through the equipment as they work.

They will be working with DC to AC inverters, helping to wire transformers, and DC wiring work.

They will be trained on solar specific wiring but they do need to have commercial or industrial experience to be considered.

Electrical Helpers- supported an electrician during his wiring duties, typically the helper is responsible for running and bending conduit and pulling the wire to the areas where the electrician needs to hook up the wire to. They will be assisting the electrician during all of their duties. Must have commercial or industrial experience as well.
