Server/Waiter/Waitress - Full-time / Part-time

YOUR JOB AS A SERVER

The Server is bd's guest guardian and advisor. You watch over our guests , you deliver both food and quality service! You put a smile on their faces. Our guests remember you as much as the food! You create Mongo Magic so that each and every guest leaves happy.

You will learn the following bd's Server objectives:

• Professional and well groomed
• Applies honesty, integrity and good judgement
• Familiar with the bd’s culture and the establishment
• Communicates in a positive manner
• Executes a recovery strategy and knows when to get a manager involved
• Setting-up the dining room
• Greeting a guest
• Confidently and knowledgeably describes menu items, features and promotions.
• Suggests desserts and appetizers.
• Adheres to beverage service procedures and responsible Alcohol service rules (TIPS or TABC)
• Quality check backs
• Cash handling & POS
• Guest interaction
• Handling guest complaints
• Importance of Table maintenance
• Guest check presentation and return
• Teamwork

REQUIREMENT FOR HIRE: Candidate must have Server Alcohol Training Certification.

bd's Mongolian Grill is a fun place to eat and work. We want you to enjoy your job, and we will do all that we can to provide a fun and energetic atmosphere. To help you understand your training, we have written a manual to be a comprehensive explanation of all of your tasks. We'll take you through this manual during this training period, and we also encourage you to continue to refer to it as a source of instruction for your further learning. Take advantage of the knowledge in the manual, be willing to learn from it, don't be afraid to ask us any questions, and have fun!
