Our client in Racine is hiring a CMM/Quality Technician!
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma but prefer 2 year Technical Degree
- 2+ years of CMM experience
- Ability to read blueprints and strong knowledge of GD&T
- Knowledge of Inspection, Auditing and SPC
Job Description:
Quality Technicians are responsible for ensuring that manufacturing processes and products comply with engineering specifications, responding to urgent quality programs on the shop floor and driving improvements projects to reduce to cost of Non-Quality. Will work closely with MFG Engineering, Quality Engineering and receiving inspection.
Work Environment:
This position will be a mix of hands manufacturing work as well as time in an office environment. Majority of the day will be spent in the machining department. Typical hours will be M-F 10pm-630am with a rotating Saturday shift.
