About this job
The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible to provide routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the residents assessment and care plan; and as directed by the licensed nurse; assists residents in lifting; turning; moving; positioning walking and transporting to and from appointment; therapy and social programs; assists resident with hygiene; ensures that residents who are unable to call for help are checked; assists with meal preparation; serving and delivery; collects and disposes of all waste before leaving the residents room; recognizes and responds to emergency situations and performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION
Preferred - High School or GED
CERTIFICATIONS
REQUIRED - C N A (Within 120 days)
REQUIRED - CPR
EXPERIENCE
Preferred - Six Months in Geriatric
SPECIFIC SKILLS
REQUIRED - Written and Verbal Communication Skills, customer service skills, computer skill appropriate to position, work independently with minimal supervision, teamwork, organizational skills.
Preferred: First Aid Training
Preferred - High School or GED
