PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

One (1) year custodial experience including selecting chemicals and the proper dilution to perform custodial assignments.

Six (6) months experience with buffer and stripping machines and utilization of equipment such as shampoo and extraction machines, box trucks and utility cargo vans.

Utilization of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the performance of all functions.

Possession of a a current and valid Florida driver's license with no major infractions and a willingness to drive to multiple locations throughout the workday.

Willingness to move equipment and furniture, and implement the correct physical configurations of furniture in halls, auditoriums, waiting areas and conference rooms as needed.

Willing to work after normal business hours and weekends.

DESCRIPTION

Provides custodial care to Florida Department of Health in Broward County to which this employee is assigned for the purpose of maintaining the facilities in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition according to pre-established criteria.

Maintains all washrooms and resilient floors replenish supplies, vacuums, dusts, empties all waste bins and biohazard receptacles. Cleans, sanitizes and polishes surfaces as necessary. Maintains client waiting areas in excellent condition. Also monitors exterior grounds, replace light bulbs, moves furniture, equipment and sets up furniture in auditoriums and meeting rooms.

This position may require after hour and weekend work schedules.

Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word,

Excellent interpersonal skills supporting a team environment.

Excellent time management and project skill.
