Wealth Management Operations

Global Wealth Management Operations provides brokerage, investment and financial services to hundreds of thousands of individual investors. We apply our expertise in serving institutional clients to create new opportunities for people to achieve their personal financial goals. Morgan Stanley has one of the largest retail brokerage networks, with numerous worldwide representatives and retail locations. Our services are tailored to each client's investment objectives, risk tolerance, and financial needs. Products include mutual funds, stocks, bonds, and alternative investments where appropriate, as well as banking, mortgages, insurance and annuities.

The Mutual Fund Cash Reconciliation team is responsible for the direct oversight of the mutual fund cash reconciliation and Contingent Deferred Sales Charge (CDSC) Share Lot functions performed by offshore entities. The group is accountable for ensuring that all firm risk policies and procedures are adhered to. Additionally, regulatory reporting, both daily and monthly, is also performed by the Cash Recon staff. Communication with other Mutual Fund reconciliation groups, Operations and Fund companies is required as well.

Role Description:

- As an SME has oversight of Cash Recon processes performed by on-shore and off-shore staff

- Point of escalation on all house accounts

- Provides backup support when staff members are absent

- Follow-up on aged items to ensure timely clean-up

- Ensures timely completion of month end processes

- Ensure all KPIs are met and take action accordingly

- Oversight of CDSC functions

- Money Market house account reconciliation

- Process End-of-day notification ? MIS reporting

- Daily 15c3-3 Regulatory Reporting

- Exceptional problem solving skills

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize time accordingly

- Exceptional organizational skills

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, client service oriented

- Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to the needs of the team as they arise

- Strong Microsoft office skills, specifically Microsoft Excel (v-lookup, pivot tables)

- College/University degree or equivalent with a business focus and relevant/proven experience
