About this job
This is a full time credentialed coder opportunity that can work remotely. We are looking for someone with at least 1 year of inpatient coding for an acute care facility.
Under the supervision of Area Manager, abstracts clinical information from a variety of medical records and assigns appropriate ICD-9 and/or CPT-4 codes to patient records. Confirms appropriate DRG assignments.
Educational Requirements : H.S. or Equivalent. ICD-9 and CPT Coding Course or AIHMA.
Licensure/Certification: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P or CPC required.
