About this job
Performs venipunctures, skin punctures, therapeutic phlebotomy, and drug screen
collections competently and expediently. Has thorough knowledge of test requirements. Assists in Clinical
Laboratory as needed. Responsibilities include bleeding time tests, blood cultures, blood and urine samples.
Position is PART-TIME, AS NEEDED; need will include weekend and holiday hours.
High School Graduate, preferred. Must have training commensurate with phlebotomy certification. Six (6) months phlebotomy experience in the health care field, preferred. Phlebotomy certification, preferred. Must obtain and maintain CPR according to CCH Policy. Able to work independently and take direction from immediate supervisor and appropriate personnel in supervisor's absence. Basic knowledge of computer. Pays attention to details, following blood-drawing standards. Able to work on smoke-free campus.
