The Walt Disney Studios encompasses the creation, production, promotion, sales, acquisition and domestic and international distribution of live-action and animated motion pictures, home entertainment releases, live stage plays, and music and soundtrack recordings.

Highly organized and motivated individual with excellent communication, analytic and advanced excel skills needed to support our Cable Sales Team. In addition, this individual must have exposure to contracts and be able to abstract agreements into main deal points.

Responsibilities Create availability reports (targeted packages of available product, strategically selected for a particular licensee) as well as creating the initial deal structure for the sales team to pitch Mining the library to look for opportunities to sell/bundle programs Assist the sales team with the back and forth negotiations by providing deal structures and parameters for the sales team to work with Review counter offers and revise the deals accordingly for the sales team to pitch Impact analysis of future seasons greenlighted or cancelled as it relates to distribution deals. Key point person for inquires related to: avails, assets, material orders, status of notices/puts/offers, etc. Provide sales teams comprehensive avails/status of licensed content to maximize sales avails and future sales opportunities. One-off analytic projects as required. Special audit/franchise projects to review pertinent deals and advise on requested information (e.g. impact of changing licensees for content under current contractual obligations) Interaction with senior executives on a frequent basis in sales, legal, finance and accounting Interact with various producer groups to ensure rights are cleared for distribution in Canada. Basic Qualifications Comprehensive understanding of underlying distribution deals coupled with advanced excel skills to be able to perform in-depth analysis. TV licensing experience Excellent oral and written communication skills for interaction with sales, finance, accounting, operations and marketing teams. Self-starter with ability to prioritize. Excellent time management skills. Ability to multi-task doing analytical, detail-oriented, high volume work. Excellent computer skills required -- MS Office especially advanced Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, database systems. Television Distribution experience preferred, entertainment industry experience required. 4+ Years' Experience in an entertainment company with contract experience Required Education BA/BS degree required.
