You will play a vital role in the success of a department and Cargill Kitchen Solutions. As a Cargill Stakeholder, you will develop a deep understanding of production responsibilities and assess and initiate opportunities for improvement. You will create and promote a team-building environment, which promotes customer and stakeholder enthusiasm. Additionally, you are responsible for executing safety initiatives and communicating safety awareness. This position will assure all HACCP's, GMP's, and SOP's are executed as planned. This position will play a vital role in meeting business and departmental goals and milestones. Lastly, you will have the opportunity to focus on training and development to further your career with Cargill Kitchen Solutions.

Starting hourly rate $26/hr

$0.50 Shift Premium from 2pm - 6am

Principal Accountabilities:

25% Development and assist in supervision of maintenance stakeholders. Responsible for developing a highly engaged, empowered and effective maintenance team.

25% Accountable for maintenance, utilities, equipment repair, and sanitation requirements. Troubleshoot causes of plant equipment problems and oversees coordination of proactive and reactive activities on a daily basis. Help develop and implement preventative maintenance programs. Coordinates repairs and supplies/parts purchasing through relationship with Mntc Planner and Mntc Supervisor

20% Provide leadership in the areas of customer focus, continuous improvement, food safety, and personal safety as they relate to maintenance activities. Support a ZERO injury culture and drive continuous improvement to safety and safety programs. Ensure contractors/employees comply with all relevant Governmental and Cargill Safety Requirements.

15% Maintain adherence to all Corporate Environmental Health and Safety Policies and Procedures to keep the facility in compliance with all Federal and State laws. Help facilitate wastewater treatment system operation to ensure permit compliance. Support and champion Reliability Excellence and drive departmental efficiences

15% This position shall have the responsibility to report problems with the food safety management system to identified person(s). This position has the responsibility and authority to initiate and record actions. Acquire and maintain knowledge of HACCP/OPRP/PRP (GMP) policies and requirements to complete all monitoring and/or verifications tasks as outlined in the Food Safety Management

Required:

High School or GED Equivalent

5 years industry maintenance experience

Positive attitude and problem solving mentality

Strong mechanical aptitude

Able and willing to work 8 hour shifts, including nights, overtime, weekends, and holidays and additional hours beyond regularly scheduled shift

Preferred:

2 years leadership/supervision

Boiler operation

Ability to utilize electrical prints and tools

Computer literacy and eagerness to learn SAP/PPE systems

Understanding of Anhydrous Ammonia Refrigeration systems

Maintenance experience in a food processing environment

Process pipe welding

Understanding of waste water systems

Understanding of PLC operated equipment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
