To support Credit and Debit disputes. Performs administrative duties for the chargeback group. This includes clerical duties, such as photocopying, faxing, scanning, indexing, filing, tabulating, posting information, and distributing mail. Maintains records, prepares forms, and verifies information. In addition, the Associate is responsible for the correct data entry of incoming chargebacks and retrievals for some endpoints and methods of payment along with incoming exception cases. Applies knowledge of department policies and procedures, and utilizes a general understanding of other departments' functions. Resolves routine questions and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher levels. Ensure timely follow up on merchant inquiries 100% of the time.

Performs accurate data entry of incoming chargebacks, and exception cases. Associates incoming faxes to chargeback and exception cases; Fulfills retrieval requests; Sends outgoing faxes and audits the process to ensure that all faxes were sent successfully; Distributes incoming faxes and mail; Fulfills cases using external systems as needed. Notifies merchants using secure email of incoming Original Authorization requests and responds to JPMC with fulfillments. Generates reports and researches items from external/internal system for potential financial impact to merchants. Maintains and ensures all external system cases have been received and sent through and escalated as needed. Sort and mail bulkprint letters to merchants. Return Mail -- contact merchant for all mail returned from the Post Office and re-direct accordingly. Retrieve documents from Merchant's internal system and fulfill the retrieval cases. Fax failed and decline cases -- contact merchant to direct the faxes and request more information for the decline cases

REQUIRED: High School diploma or equivalent. Good written and verbal skills. Must be able to multi-task. Ability to work within a fast-paced environment. Self motivated and demonstrates exemplary team working skills by maintaining a professional, positive and supportive attitude. Detail oriented. PREFERRED: 1 years of customer experience. 2 years of administrative or clerical experience. Knowledge of computer software systems, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Proficient in data entry.
