Overview:
The Retail Coverage Merchandiser primarily provides retail sales coverage and coverage of retail special projects for an assigned retail territory. They are responsible for representing NSSI and our principals through store coverage and executing objectives as set forth by the principal, Business Manager, or Retail Sales Manager to achieve superior in-store results in an assigned territory.

Responsibilities:
- Rotate stock, clean and stock display and price merchandise as appropriate.
- Conduct Audits as directed by Retail Sales Manager.
- Perform such duties as checking date codes, ensuring adherence to approved plan-o-gram, replacing decals/re-order tags or ads and placing point of purchase material.
- Work with store personnel to achieve and maintain merchandising excellence and build customer good will.
- Report observations to Outside Sales Rep, Account Manger, or Retail Sales Manager regarding out of date product and missing distribution.
- May assist in the transportation and on-site delivery of all materials, supplies and equipment necessary for the assigned set.
- Perform special projects as assigned by Retail Sales Manager.
- Effectively and accurately use technology including NSSI Website.
- Follow company policy in execution of set teamwork.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required. Prior retail and set responsibility experience preferred, but not required.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Must have a valid driver's license and must be able to drive a car for extended periods of time.
- Must be available for overnight travel.
- Must be available to weekend work (Demos and Food Shows).
- Must be able to work nights and holidays.
- Must be willing and able to work in extremely cold conditions (i.e. refrigerated and freezer sections of retail stores).
- Must be able to effectively communicate with others.
- Must have good vision and be able to operate a calculator, fax machine, telephone, copier, hand truck, pallet jack, hammer, screwdriver, drill and case cutter.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
