PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION:

This position is responsible for assisting the Store Manager with managing the convenience store and gasoline operation.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Performs duties of Store Manager in his/her absence.

- Addresses and expeditiously resolves the following situations:
- disgruntled customers or employees.
- no-fault product policy.
- drive-offs.
- invalid credit cards.
- bad checks.
- broken or malfunctioning equipment.

- Ensures completion of interior and exterior housekeeping during the assigned shift.

- Performs bookkeeping procedures to include:
- shift check-off.
- daily station reporting.
- bank deposit preparation.

- Handles payment of certain direct store delivery accounts by issuing money orders.

- Performs additional duties that may be required by supervisor or the company as a result of the location, nature or size of the store or other circumstances.



JOB REQUIREMENTS:

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

- Must be able to perform all tasks and functions of a Sales Associate or a Team Leader.

- Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and work shifts other than those the Store Manager works after completion of training.

- Must possess basic reading, writing and math skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

- Must be of legal age to sell alcohol and tobacco products.

- Must be able to operate a personal computer.

Physical Demands:

Activities: Sitting - 5% Walking/Standing - 95%

Lifting: List be able to lift 50 lbs.

Vision: Working on computer screen and checking customers identification.

Mental Demands: Problem solve, analyze, and interpret and meet deadlines.

Environment: Climate controlled office space. Some outside work. Walk-in coolers with exposure to excessive cold.
