Production Supervisor

Our company is seeking a Production Supervisor for a large manufaturing company. This position is a long term and full time opportunity.

Job Duties:

-Responsible for production for shift employees and communicating job expectations daily
-Logistics and communication across all departments
-Planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
-Coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees within the union workforce
-Responsible for human safety, training, investigations, and corrective action through systematic policies and procedures
-Maintain workflow and equipment downtime
-Lead performance improvement "shift leader" team
-Compile and analyze production performance records
-Resolve personnel issues compliant with union terms

Qualifications:

-Must have at least 2 years of recent supervision in manufacturing of at least 8 employees
-Manufacturing principles in past roles, such as lean manufacturing or Six Sigma
-Computer literate: email, Microsoft office - need to have experience with Excel data entry, formulas, making production charts for employees
+HUGE PLUS: past union supervision
-Associates degree, or related experience within the industry

Shift: 3rd shift: 9:00PM-5:30AM
*Training on 1st and 2nd, but long-term need is 3rd shift

Pay: $21-$26/hr, depending on experience
