STAR Educations is seeking part-time After-School Enrichment Teachers and Aides for our After-School enrichment based classes. If you are passionate about Sports, Art, Theatre or Science and want to share your passion with children, then this is the place for you!
The STAR program delivers academic excellence using progressive educational best practices. We value the unique attributes of each child and support their intellectual, social and emotional development. STAR Education's mission is to offer extended educational, recreational, and enrichment programs to students; support and enhance school curriculum; improve student achievement; and expand the cultural base of young people through innovative, quality programs offered by highly qualified instructors.
Applicants MUST enjoy and have experience working with groups of children, have a dependable car, and be a highly energetic, reliable, personable individual with a desire to make learning FUN! This is a part-time position. We train you in the curriculum, and provide all materials. ENTHUSIASM and FLEXIBILITY are a must for this fast-paced & high-energy atmosphere!
To apply for an After-School Teacher position:
A total of 12 college units in one or a combination of the following subjects: Early Childhood Dev., Nursing, Sociology, Art, Music, Dance, Recreation, Human Services, Social Welfare, Physical Education, Home Economics, Child Development, School age Child, and Psychology.
**College units in the listed areas are desired, but not required to apply for the TeacheraEURTMs Aide positions.
Hours are Monday - Friday from 2:30pm - 6:30pm. Morning/split shift are also available from 6:30am-9:00am.
