The MENTOR Network is currently looking for a Compensation Analyst who will assist in the development and implementation of a wide variety of compensation programs such as base pay, variable pay and incentives that provide consistent and equitable treatment of employees, are cost efficient, align with the organizations total compensation philosophy and meet the organization’s needs.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below.
- Performs job evaluation studies and job audits to include job analysis, creation of job descriptions and recommendation of salary classifications. Analyzes and defines job requirements. Recommends appropriate job structure and classification of positions.
- Develops and prepares reports and analysis on compensation program performance and cost in a variety of areas such as base pay, variable pay, budget performance, and position to market.
- Provides guidance to HR Business Partners and managers on compensation practices and policies and provides recommendations where appropriate.
- Conducts, participates in and analyzes pay structure, wage and salary surveys.
- Conducts periodic audits of pertinent aspects of compensation programs such as job descriptions, titles, classifications, etc.
- Assists in the administration of annual incentive programs.Oversees maintenance of data, records, pay structure, job descriptions, job evaluation histories and other compensation related activities, files, records, and data.
- Participates in special compensation projects and studies.
- Performs other related duties and activities as required.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Requires strong analytical, communication and Excel skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
